The Founding Fathers’ goal of writing the Constitution was to establish a government that would protect individual freedoms and rights for the people in perpetuity.

Although the Founders didn’t always agree or even like each other, through open-minded dialogue, civil collaboration, and ethical negotiations, they compromised to focus on and achieve their common goal, the birth and preservation of the Constitution.
